How much does hosting cost per year to host a domain?
These fees range from around $40 – $165 every two years for Australian domains, down to around $10 – $30 a year for global domain names (.com, .org, .info etc) depending on the registrar used and the number of years you register for. The newer “specialty” domains are a lot pricier!

Some ISP’s charge nothing for this service, while others charge $100+ a year. You should expect to pay a median amount to park a domain name with an ISP which should include some sort of email forwarding service as well. Considering you can get full blown “hosting” for multiple domains (see next section) for around $15 a month, it would be better to use one of those services for “parking” purposes.

These days registrars charge around $10 to $15 to register a new name. Note that this is per year. Although you own the rights to a domain name, in a sense you’re just leasing it. If you decide not to pay (or forget) one year, you will lose the name.

The film’s music involves an original collaboration between the two geniuses of Da. Octopusss, Bastide Dony and Demie Roques, and the cream of the French rap scene. The resulting soundtrack features pieces directly inspired by the film and an electro score Prodigy/Chemical Brothers-style with lots of sound effects and filters, with the whole thing immersed in a hip-hop atmosphere.

- Begin reading Bob Dylan novel.
- Start to document dates and facts from the novel I’m reading and discuss the role Dylan played as a folk musician in the 1960s, link interviews and concerts from utube to my site/wordpress.

Week 8 Culture
- Research and report on findings from and about the creation of the Rolling Stone magazine and how it was a first in reporting/printing on music, politics, and popular culture in the sixties.

Week 9 Art
- Research current or past artist who have appropriated their work from that of Andy Warhol and alike in the age of POPism! Link to website or wordpress, include pictures/graphics.

Week 10 Music
- seek out Musicians/bands and go to see gigs/venues whose music and performance has a heavy influence from the 60s. Interview Geelong/Melb based bands, create reviews/written interviews for my site.

Week 11 Culture
- Create culture page on website..
- Suss out current magazines, which look into the same areas as the Rolling Stone, Inc Music, Politics and Popular culture.
- Start listings and linking local ‘POPspots’ including upbeat/chic local bars, live music venues, coffee shops and fashion outlets,

Week 12 Rap up!!
- Review site, edit, change fonts, format headings, make sure the entire site flows from one page to another, with the same fonts, colour scheme, make sure it look inviting and easy to explore and all the media is uploaded and works correctly inc pictures, film ect.
